The earth is vibrant, alive, and the intelligence of life everywhere manifest–in plants and trees, insects, animals, humans, too (*-)–generation upon generation, forever saying or singing something we can call the secret of life. "One touch of Nature and the whole world is kin" (wrote William Wordsworth). In Nature we find perpetual renewal, rightness, rigor, and the marvelous "mindless mastery" of the web of life.
