Mother and Daughter: A Celebration of Luna and Brooke

Luna and Brooke, mother and only daughter, spent an afternoon on the beach in Sebastien with me to depict something of the dynamic that defines the relationship between the two. Brooke, 14, was not feeling 100%, but she quickly warmed to the camera and all the attention implied. The beautiful weather and light along this stretch of shore made all three of us feel, little by little, free beings and happy to be there. We all understood, too, that this day would never be replicated except in the photographs shot. Each of us, like the sun, rose to the occasion. It is my hope that something of our collective light brings you some joy. And so to all who open their hearts to possibilities and who celebrate the love they feel.
